Kristina Craig is a singer originally out of Nebraska (Now Tennessee) that bridges the gap between Christian music and country. It makes for some interesting contrasts as she combines the two styles instead of separating them. Instead of a song being strictly gospel or typical country, she infuses inspirational themes with often realistic, gritty topics. Songs such as "Washing His Sins" seem at first glance to be a gospel song, but turn out to be story about letting go of a broken relationship. As a singer/songwriter, she crafts the music to suite her voice well. This, coupled with some great instrumentation on her recordings, make her music worth listening to regardless of your favorite genre.
